Yinch Yeap

Yinch is a software engineer who works in the games and real time graphics space. His recent projects have included a VR ski fitness game, a jetliner cockpit procedural trainer and MRI machine simulator. He believes that technology should help solve real world problems and make life better.

He works closely with local schools to give access to immersive, interactive and inspiring VR learning experiences, ranging from an ISS jetpack adventure to Shakespeare\’s Globe Theatre. His company also runs programmes that encourage pupils to learn coding skills.

Before VR, his company has worked on video installations, healthcare mobile apps, treadmill fitness software and interactive 3D kiosks. Clients including Bank of America, Ford Motor Company and Samsung USA.

Yinch founded playko after working as lead developer on console games and multimedia titles. He graduated with a Masters in Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Yu Yuan

Dr. Yu Yuan (Candidate for 2022 IEEE Standards Association President-Elect) is a visionary researcher, inventor, practitioner, and entrepreneur in the areas of Consumer Technology, Multimedia/VR/AR, Connected/Automated Vehicles, IoT, and Digital Transformation. He founded 0xSenses Corporation, a multinational technology company specializing in Virtual Reality.

Dedicated to \”Creating Better Worlds\” as its long-term vision, the company is developing technologies, infrastructures, ecosystems, and resources needed for massively multiplayer ultra-realistic virtual experiences. Prior to this he worked for IBM Research as a research scientist and was a key contributor to IBM\’s Cell Broadband Engine, Smarter Planet, and IoT initiative. He has been a passionate volunteer in various leadership positions at IEEE and other professional communities. His outstanding service in IEEE standards activities at different levels (working groups, standards committees, and governance at higher levels) has been widely appreciated by standards developers, individual members, and corporate members.

He has a Ph.D., an M.S., and a B.S. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.

Dominique Wu

Dominique Wu is a senior UX/UI Designer, AR/VR Designer, and Art Director specializing in the entertainment and tech industries. She has designed and developed strategies to help businesses scale sustainably and maximize growth for more than 10 years.

Hugh Hou

Hugh Hou is a Co-Founder and Creative Director for CreatorUp, a digital media education company and production studio. He heads up immersive media content creation and has produced VR content for numerous companies and organizations such as Samsung, the Special Olympics, Google, Oculus, MasterCard, Twitter, TikTok, RedBull Music, LACOSTE, Huawei, and the Los Angeles Police Department.
He also directs and produces Mixed Reality music videos. He worked with musical artists such as I Prevail, Joyner Lucas, Kristina Sky, Roger Shah, Cypress Hill, and SHAED.

When not producing original VR videos & films, Hugh dedicates his time to sharing his vast expertise in immersive technologies and VR filmmaking on the CreatorUp YouTube channel. He truly believes that by sharing freely with the world through YouTube, mentoring and consulting, more creators will join the immersive media family.
Hugh’s goal is to help the VR industry thrive and to improve the quality of VR filmmaking.

Keith Chan

Keith earned a Ph.D. in anthropology and used it to make a career introducing students to this field. After trying VR, he saw its potential in education and began making the VR museum AnVRopomotron to enhance the student experience. He continues to investigate ways that XR can enrich learning.
