Splat of the Year Contest

It's easy to enter your Splat to contend for
The Polys SPLAT of the Year Award
in partnership with:

Entries to SPLAT of the Year are now closed. 20 Semifinalists have been selected.

When:

• We are accepting submissions for SPLAT OF THE YEAR through January 19th
• Public Voting between January 20th and 26th will determine the finalists. Votes will be collected through Social Media Threads.
• The Polys Jury will select from among the finalists starting January 27th.
• The winner of Splat of the Year will be announced at The Polys on Sunday, February 23rd.

Where

• All entries will be uploaded to Arrival.Space where they will be viewed by the public and by the Polys jury in VR.
• If you enter more than one Splat, chain them using the one one you enter into the contest.

How:

• Use your favorite scanning app that exports to Gaussian Splats
• Upload the Splat to Arrival.Space
• Adjust the position, rotation and scale of the splat in the environment if necessary.
• You can create gates in your main url to as many splats as you would like to enter.
• Testing in a VR headset is recommended, but not required. Finalists will be judged in VR, but anyone can view your Splats on desktop ad mobile

Promoting your entries

• Make a social media posts about it and tag your peeps
• Hashtag #SplatOfTheYear and #ThePolys
• Ask people to like, comment on, and repost your splats
